Perfect Glue Extrusion

The Vector Revolution glue extrusion system is an important part of our contour edge-banding process and it’s carefully designed to deliver exceptional bond strength:

• The glue is applied to the edge band before it is applied to the workpiece.
• The molten glue is applied to the band only to the width of the workpiece (you can see the thin glue lines in the photo).
• The cartridge glue nozzle is a closed system that only heats the glue as it is used.
• It takes less than 0.5 seconds from the glue nozzle to the band ensuring glue performance even in variable ambient conditions.
• The glue remains molten until pressed onto the panel by the first pressure roller. No heat lamps are required.
• The overhanging edge band which is automatically trimmed away is glue-free leaving the cutters clean.
• A simple wiper passes across the nozzle automatically before and after each cycle ensuring the glue nozzle face remains clean.
